Ceiling fans, while they can look similar, not all are created equal. You need to consider many aspects of the product before making their selection. Some fans may seem good, but move very little air, and obviously this would not be a very good choice for a ceiling fan outdoors. Take a look at the pitch in the fan roof blades.
